McCracken County Fiscal Court is soliciting sealed bids for a complete security fencing system around the rear staff parking facility at the McCracken County Courthouse. The scope includes approximately 340 linear feet of minimum eight-foot commercial-grade, black powder-coated aluminum spear-top fencing; one approximately 24-foot automated cantilever vehicle gate with keypad, loop detectors, and swipe-access integration capability; and two 60-inch pedestrian gates with panic/push bars, self-closing mechanisms, and swipe-access integration capability. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits, utility mark-outs, demolition of existing dumpster fencing, concrete and curb cutting, trenching, conduit and cabling to the main electrical box and communications closet, restoration, safety devices, and automated-gate programming. The Administrative Office of the Courts will provide and install the card-swipe access-control hardware. The proposal must include itemized pricing, product documentation, a project schedule and phasing plan, licensing and insurance documentation, and warranty terms. Construction must minimize disruption to the operating parking lot, and written notice is required at least 48 hours before any unavoidable closure.
