Description
The City of Scranton is soliciting bids for a one-year contract to open, close, and winterize municipal swimming pools. Base-bid locations are Weston Field Pool and Nay Aug Pool, with add-alternate pricing requested for Weston Park Pool and Connell Park Pool. Winterization must be completed no later than November 1 and includes blowing out water lines, adding antifreeze and chemicals, plugging filter baskets, removing splash elements, railings, and ladders, and covering the pools. Opening must be completed no later than May 10 and includes uncovering, folding and storing covers, clearing lines, and reinstalling handrails, ladders, and splash elements. Bidders must submit service descriptions, experience, personnel information, pricing, at least five years of experience under the current business name, required registrations or licenses, a 10% bid bond, relationship disclosures, affidavits and certifications, insurance information, and a Certificate of Insurance.
