Description
Walton County is soliciting a contractor to fabricate and install six County-approved monument-style gateway signs at SR 83 North, US 331 North, SR 20 East, SR 20 West, US 98 East, and US 98 West. The work includes removal or relocation of existing signs at five locations, new foundation and site preparation at SR 20 West, delivery, installation, lighting and solar-power components, traffic control, and field verification of site and right-of-way conditions. The contractor must obtain applicable Walton County structural and electrical permits and Florida Department of Transportation right-of-way permits, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and comply with Walton County Scenic Corridor regulations and FDOT requirements. Required deliverables include shop drawings, permit documentation, an installation schedule and traffic control plan, coordination documentation, post-installation inspection photographs, and warranty information. The project requires substantial completion within 180 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and final completion within 15 calendar days after issuance of the punch list. Bidders must provide experience and current-commitment information, references, licenses, a bid form, bid security, subcontractor and supplier declarations, and other required certifications and questionnaires.
