Description
Escambia County is soliciting a contractor for the rehabilitation of an owner-occupied, single-family residence. The scope includes installation of a matching HVAC system with condenser, air handler, ductwork repairs, return-air registers, digital thermostat, and Manual J documentation; replacement of the septic system with a tie-in to the county sewer line; septic decommissioning; restoration of disturbed yard areas; and reconnection of drains. The work must comply with applicable Florida regulations, Escambia County codes, permits, inspections, and the SHIP housing repair program requirements. The materials list and scope also identify potential residential repairs and replacements involving plumbing fixtures, appliances, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, roofing, gutters, windows, bathroom components, water heating, ventilation, and related drywall, trim, electrical, painting, and surface-protection work. Contractors must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, insurance, and overhead within itemized pricing, use like, similar, or equivalent products, and complete the project within the stated 60-day contract period. The response must include pricing for the Mechanical and Sewer Tie-In line items and the required supporting documentation.
