Description
Escambia County is soliciting multiple contractors for an as-needed pricing agreement covering roadway and drainage construction projects, including road paving, widening, reconstruction, resurfacing, dirt-road paving, drainage structures and pipe, stormwater and sewer work, concrete, sidewalks, traffic calming, pavement markings, traffic control, erosion control, fencing, irrigation, landscaping, and related emergency-response work. Individual projects may not exceed $250,000. Contractors must hold a Florida general contractor or underground utility contractor license, and subcontractors must be properly licensed for their work. The agreement will begin upon execution for 36 months and may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods, for a maximum of 60 months. Multiple awards are contemplated, with purchase/task orders issued as needed. Bids must include electronic pricing, a signed bid form, required certifications and affidavits, references, licensing and business-authority documentation, insurance evidence or a letter of insurability, subcontractor information, and a current W-9. Performance and payment bonds are required within 10 days after award of an individual project; the solicitation also requires specified construction insurance coverage.
