Description
The City of Pensacola is seeking qualifications for a two-part Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) project. The selected consultant will support a Gonzalez Street Neighborhood Greenway quick-build demonstration, including transportation and demographic analysis, public engagement, concepts and roadway renderings, pre- and post-project data collection, NEPA categorical-exclusion documentation, and oversight and guidance for implementation of temporary safety countermeasures such as paint, rubber curbs, and flex posts. Deliverables include presentation materials, product recommendations with cost estimates, constructability and vehicular-impact evaluations, and a final ArcGIS story map report. The second component is a roadway safety audit and Vision Zero Action Planning project focused on the High Injury Crash Network. Work includes online and field data collection, crash-statistics analysis, GIS mapping, stakeholder and public engagement, countermeasure recommendations using crash modification factors and the five E's of safety, policy and strategy development, and final digital reports and ArcGIS map packages. Submittals are limited to 40 single-sided pages, excluding specified items, and must address the stated firm experience, project team, and scheduling and budget criteria.
