Description
Escambia County is seeking qualifications from an insurance agent or broker to serve as agent of record for the County, its elected constitutional officers, and the Santa Rosa Island Authority. The selected firm will obtain and maintain insurance coverage through qualified carriers across numerous lines, including commercial property, flood, cyber liability, marine, crime, workers’ compensation, public officials liability, law enforcement liability, medical malpractice, airport liability, environmental liability, media liability, drone liability, and other coverage or bonds needed to protect the County’s financial interests. The scope includes brokerage and risk management support such as property inspections, insurance analytics, audits, claims reviews, carrier and third-party administrator liaison services, market and emerging-risk updates, training, safety and claims advocacy, stewardship reports, property valuations, renewal planning, and obtaining coverage quotes. The firm must have been in business for at least 10 years, report revenue of at least $500 million, demonstrate experience with large public-entity accounts having total insured values of at least $500 million, and provide access to Pensacola within eight hours of notification. Responses must include a single electronic PDF qualification package with the specified qualification, experience, staffing, client, technical approach, additional information, pricing, and vendor-submission materials.
