Description
The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District is soliciting bids for as-needed removal, transportation, and environmentally compliant disposal of preliminary screenings, grit, dried and pelletized biosolids, dewatered biosolids, and related mitigation waste from multiple wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. The contractor must furnish containers, trailers, labor, supervision, transportation, fuel, and disposal services, including roll-off and front-load containers, semi-tractor trailers, and tri-axle trailers as specified. Work includes scheduled and emergency pickups, landfill or land-application disposal, spill prevention and cleanup, covered and sealed transport, and compliance with applicable environmental and transportation requirements. The contract has no guaranteed quantity of work and is awarded using evaluated price, financial information, safety, ability to comply with specifications, and references. Bidders must submit the required proposal, affidavits, contractor information, financial and safety materials, insurance documentation, OSHA records, health and safety programs, equipment information, and references. The initial term is one year from award, with up to four successive twelve-month renewals.
