Description
Environment and Climate Change Canada is seeking an operational team to provide continuous labour for the operation, monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, modifications, and minor repairs of the mechanical, electrical, architectural, building automation, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems at the Canadian Meteorological Centre. The contractor must provide weekday and weekend/statutory-holiday maintenance mechanics, a weekday labourer, and a relief team consisting of at least one mechanic and one labourer. The contractor must hold a valid Quebec general contractor licence and provide qualified, credentialed personnel. The work includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, service calls, emergency response, work orders, monthly activity and management reports, training, quality control, health and safety compliance, and operation of systems supporting a Tier II data centre environment. The initial contract term is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2028, with up to three additional one-year option periods. Personnel assigned to the work must meet the required SECRET security clearance or be escorted in restricted areas, and the successful contractor must comply with the stated Canadian supplier or applicable trading-partner eligibility requirements.
