Description
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment seeks a contractor to operate and maintain the North Clear Creek Water Treatment Plant and associated site facilities. Work includes staffing and managing plant operations, treating contaminated mine drainage, purchasing and handling treatment chemicals and supplies, routine and corrective maintenance, process control, and monitoring and sampling of influent, effluent, and sludge. The contractor must also prepare and maintain operating, health and safety, sampling, quality assurance, and emergency plans; provide reports; and support the transition from long-term remedial action to operations and maintenance. The selected contractor will assist with procurement and implementation of identified optimization projects before the operations and maintenance transition. The response must include the completed Vendor Information and Confirmation of Offer Form, the completed Cost/Rate Sheets, and the proposal narratives and supporting information specified in the RFP. Proposals are limited to 50 pages, excluding required attachments and resumes. The contract is expected to have a one-year initial term, with up to four additional one-year options.
