Description
The Cowichan Valley Regional District seeks a qualified consulting firm to evaluate large-scale water storage options, including Grant Lake and gravel extraction pits. The project will assess available storage for three options and provide engineering assessments and Class D cost estimates for storage and distribution infrastructure. Grant Lake is provisionally assessed assuming a dam at the lake outlet, and two extraction pits are provisionally assessed for excavation and waterproof liners; the scope may be adjusted if an alternative option is identified.
