Description
The City seeks a vendor to supply a wide range of water distribution materials, including air-release and control valves, hydrant and backflow-prevention equipment, ductile-iron fittings, service-line materials, pipe, couplings, fasteners, tools, and related components. Products must meet the stated technical specifications and applicable standards; approved equivalents may be proposed with supporting technical information. Materials must be new and include applicable factory warranties. The contract requires recurring ordering and delivery, including availability for emergency requests at all hours, every day of the year. Bidders must price every listed item through the electronic bid schedule. The award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, and the initial contract term is one year from execution, with no optional extensions.
