Ignite CDA, Coeur d'Alene's Urban Renewal Agency, is requesting proposals from developers for Phase III of the Atlas Waterfront Project, known as “The Currents,” covering Areas 7, 11, and 20 of the Atlas Mill Site. The opportunity concerns publicly owned urban renewal property on the northern bank of the Spokane River and is intended for development consistent with the Coeur d'Alene Comprehensive Plan, applicable zoning regulations, Atlas Waterfront Neighborhood Development and Architectural Standards, the planned unit development for the Atlas Mill Site, and applicable urban renewal plans. The notice states that this is a competitive proposal process for a publicly owned development opportunity and is not an offer to sell property. The RFP packet is available on the Agency's website under the RFP tab. Responses must be received by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on October 30, 2026; late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
