Description
The City of Spokane is seeking a supplier for precast concrete products used by its Water & Hydroelectric Services and Wastewater Maintenance departments. The scope includes concrete meter box half rings, riser rings in multiple thicknesses, meter box bottom rings, and meter cones, with products required to meet City of Spokane specifications and applicable AWWA standards. Meter box products must comply with the provided Meter Cone & Rings drawing, including reinforced concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 psi and specified steel reinforcement. Riser rings must comply with City Standard Plan A-8; cast iron and concrete cone sections are not required. This is a five-year value blanket with no guaranteed quantities. Products will be ordered as needed, with minimum pallet orders for meter box half rings and riser rings. Pricing includes delivery FOB destination to designated Spokane locations, and full meter box assemblies must be palletized in the specified configuration. The supplier is responsible for freight, delivery timelines, applicable business registration, and product certifications concerning polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
