Description
The U.S. Forest Service requires electrical repairs at the Fernan Ranger Station sewage lift station. The work includes replacing the corroded disconnect switch, circuit breaker, and related distribution components with corrosion-resistant equipment; replacing worn or damaged cables and protecting them with a junction box and waterproof conduit; and replacing the existing light fixture with a low-profile, hard-wired LED fixture and accessible switch. All personnel must hold the licenses required for their assigned tasks, and travel expenses must be included in the quotation. The contractor must submit pricing for all line items, a completed SF 1442, the Schedule of Items, the Past Performance/Experience Questionnaire, and a written technical approach with equipment data sheets, product literature, and other technical documentation needed for review. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, with an anticipated firm-fixed-price award to one contractor. Performance is to begin ten days after notice to proceed, with completion no later than December 18, 2026.
