Description
This presolicitation concerns construction of a new single-span, precast, prestressed concrete bridge approximately 55 feet long on Yellowstone Trail Road, along with roadway realignment and reconstruction over approximately 0.20 miles. The work includes bridge railing, structural concrete, reinforcing steel, asphalt pavement, guardrails, signing, striping, temporary traffic control, and related roadway improvements. The project also requires rock-mass stabilization below the structure, including rock bolts, rock dowels, reinforced shotcrete, and temporary roadway rockfall protection. The estimated price range is $2 million to $5 million. The project is expected to be solicited to prime contractors holding contracts under the Idaho, Montana, and Surrounding Areas Multiple Award Task Order Contract; subcontractors may pursue opportunities through those prime contractors. The tentative fixed completion date is fall 2027, and the solicitation is anticipated during fall 2026, with solicitation documents expected during winter 2026–2027.
