Description
This firm-fixed-price task order requires construction of a new single-span, precast, prestressed concrete bridge approximately 55 feet long; realignment and reconstruction of approximately 0.20 miles of Yellowstone Trail Road; and stabilization of the rock mass below the structure. Work includes structural excavation and concrete, reinforcing steel, precast concrete slabs, asphalt pavement, guardrails, signing, pavement markings, temporary traffic control, utility conduit and pullboxes, erosion control, turf establishment, construction survey and staking, quality control, testing, and construction scheduling. The project also includes rock bolts, rock dowels, reinforced shotcrete, safety scaling, and temporary roadway rockfall protection using movable rockfall barriers and suspended rock containment nets during bridge, excavation, and slope-stabilization work. Yellowstone Trail Road may be closed during construction, and limited westbound Interstate 90 lane or shoulder closures are permitted during specified periods. Selection is based on lowest price. Only the six MATOC prime contractors identified in the solicitation may submit proposals; subcontractors may pursue participation through those primes. The estimated price range is $2 million to $5 million, and the fixed completion date is October 15, 2027.
