Description
The City of Bristol, Virginia is soliciting proposals from qualified developers to purchase and develop one or both of two city-owned former elementary school properties: Highland View Elementary School at 1425 Eads Avenue, approximately 2.83 acres and 36,750 square feet, and Washington Lee Elementary School at 185 Washington Lee Drive, approximately 8.34 acres and 43,115 square feet. Both properties are zoned R-3, Moderate Density Residential, and are offered "as is—where is." Proposals must describe the proposed development, preferred parcel or parcels, land uses, conceptual site plan, phasing, schedule, development team and relevant experience, land-sale price offer, projected property and other tax revenues, anticipated jobs and community benefits, and demonstrated access to financial capital. Responses are limited to 30 pages and must include a completed Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) Form. The City may select one or more developers and may conduct interviews or negotiations.
