Description
Gwinnett County seeks one service provider to deliver the full scope of occupational health services, including pre-employment, fitness-for-duty, return-to-duty, and change-of-position examinations; drug and breath alcohol testing; and random drug and alcohol selection. Services include 24/7 availability for specified testing, express in-house screening, laboratory confirmation where required, medical review officer services, secure reporting, and records management. The provider must offer facilities conveniently located in or accessible to the County, with facility details and hours included in the proposal; a brick-and-mortar location in the County is preferred but not required. The County does not require on-site services at this time but expects the provider to be able to perform them if needed. Proposals must cover the entire scope and include the County fee schedule, organizational and staffing information, facility details, procedures, performance guarantees, implementation timeline, and at least three references for similar work. The County will evaluate resources, facilities, administrative procedures, experience, references, and cost. The addendum confirms that subcontracting must be specifically described in the proposal and is subject to County approval; it also clarifies that the contract begins February 1, 2027.
