Gwinnett County seeks competitive quotes for wood staining and pavilion repairs at Bogan Park, George Pierce Park, Pinckneyville Park, and Holcomb Bridge Park. The contractor must provide labor and materials, remove and replace damaged wood, repair visible damage, pressure-wash and prepare surfaces, and stain new and existing wood. All wood surfaces are to be coated; the stain should match the existing finish, with a solid-color stain allowed if the existing coating is incompatible. The scope also includes debris removal and site cleanup. Contractors must hold a valid Georgia general contractor license and take their own site measurements before quoting. The County will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and may split the award among locations. The quote package requires the completed quote schedule, references for at least three similar projects completed within the past five years, and a completed Contractor Affidavit and Agreement. The affidavit must be signed and notarized. Addendum 2 must be signed and returned with the quote. The County states that no bonds are required. Addendum 1 postponed the quote date indefinitely, superseding the November 12, 2026 date shown in the original solicitation and Addendum 2; a new date is to be announced in a future addendum.
