Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks referral laboratory services for its VISN 15 medical centers. The contractor will provide pre-analytic processing, clinical and anatomical pathology testing, result interpretation and reporting, specimen transportation, supplies, and related consultative support. The scope includes routine and STAT/emergency testing, electronic transmission of completed and partial results, and on-site specimen processors at designated medical centers. The solicitation lists a broad test schedule with estimated quantities and requires unit pricing for each test, along with test methodology, specimen type, turnaround time, testing site, and STAT availability. The contractor must maintain required laboratory licenses and accreditations, provide qualified personnel and equipment, support interfaces with VA laboratory systems, and meet specimen handling, quality assurance, and reporting requirements. The proposal must include separate price and non-price responses, including technical capability, quality assurance, IT connectivity, and past performance information.
