Description
Gwinnett County seeks a contractor to supply and install guardrails and fencing under an annual contract, including removal of existing guardrails and fencing, guardrail anchorage and impact attenuators, and ADA-compliant handrails. The bid schedule also includes labor and materials for additional work, shoulder construction and restoration associated with guardrail installation, and traffic control. Materials must come from Georgia Department of Transportation-certified sources, and installation must follow applicable Georgia Department of Transportation specifications. The contractor must perform all guardrail, fencing, and handrail work itself; temporary traffic control may be subcontracted to a properly certified subcontractor. The initial contract period is February 16, 2027, through February 15, 2028, or upon award by the Board of Commissioners, with four additional one-year renewal options. Bidders must submit pricing, at least three similar-work references, a subcontractor list, a Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, and a Code of Ethics Affidavit.
