Description
New Milford Public Schools is soliciting a turnkey design-build upgrade to the stage lighting and rigging system at New Milford High School. The work includes removal and disposal of legacy fluorescent work lights and a projector screen; design, supply, installation, and commissioning of LED work lights, DMX-compatible controls, power and data distribution, additional linesets, counterweight modifications, curtain and traveler-track adjustments, adjustable wing-leg systems, a main-curtain valance solution, and a structural cable pathway. The project also includes required compliance with applicable building, electrical, fire-safety, OSHA, and ANSI/ESTA standards. The proposal must include itemized pricing for the base scope, separate pricing for add alternates, and unit pricing for additional linesets. Add alternates include a blue main-curtain valance, optional upstage masking curtains, front-of-house side tormentors, and motorized front-of-house trusses. The selected contractor must provide a design and engineering package, fixed itemized pricing, direct-to-site delivery, commissioning, and a one-year warranty; a project-specific Health and Safety Plan is required before onsite work begins. Proposals must include a signed transmittal letter, completed appendices, at least three similar-project references, applicable licenses and permits, and resumes for proposed staff and subcontractors.
