Description
West Virginia University is soliciting proposals from qualified general contractors to renovate approximately 5,600 square feet of shell space on the third floor of the Health Sciences Center in Morgantown. The work includes demolition, concrete patching and infill, HVAC modifications, electrical, data and network work, sprinkler expansion, plumbing, metal-stud and drywall partitions, ceilings, wall protection, flooring, painting, doors, glazing, hardware, access control, casework, counters, fixtures, curtains, and installation of owner-furnished items. The contractor must also purchase and install 3B Scientific Immersion Systems, or an approved equivalent, for the Immersion Labs, and Elevate Healthcare LearningSpace Systems, or an approved equivalent, for the CSPL Lab. The proposal must include company and team qualifications, a project approach, a construction schedule, pricing using the provided cost summary sheet, at least three similar completed projects from the last five years, required West Virginia licensing and affidavits, a safety evaluation questionnaire, and other supplier attachments. Substantial Completion is required by May 7, 2027, and Final Completion by May 28, 2027.
