Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking 1,500 Igniter Assembly, Mark 288 Mod 1 units, part number 6105392, for use with the MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo System. The requirement includes manufacturing, production-lot testing, inspection, quality assurance, packaging, marking, hazardous-material compliance, serialization, and delivery in accordance with the referenced drawings, specifications, military standards, and statement of work. The solicitation identifies Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company as the original equipment manufacturer and states that the procurement is intended to be sole source; it is not a request for competitive quotes, although responsible sources may submit capability information for possible future competition. The contract includes five deliveries of 300 units each and one lot of contract data requirements.
