Description
The U.S. Army is developing a draft RFP for FY2027–FY2032 production and delivery of M1002 TPMP-T and M865A1 TPCSDS-T 120mm tank training cartridges. The anticipated requirement includes first article acceptance testing, firm-fixed-price production, quantity-range pricing across five evaluated option periods, procurement or production of components, ballistic and quality testing, technical and manufacturing engineering, supplier oversight, configuration management, material traceability, statistical process control, risk management, and production reporting. The scope also includes refurbishment and delivery of PA171 shipping and storage containers, pallets, pallet adapters, and internal packaging materials; retrieval of empty containers from assigned ammunition supply points; inspection, cleaning, repair or replacement of packaging components; and shipment of accepted packaging to cartridge load, assemble, and pack sites. The draft evaluation uses a two-phase process requiring a relevant DD250 or capability statement, technical written narratives and oral presentations, an integrated master schedule, supplier table, past-performance spreadsheet, price matrix, small-business participation submission, and solicitation, offer, award, and certification documents. The draft materials are preliminary and subject to change; the formal RFP is anticipated to be issued through the PIEE Solicitation Module.
