Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to manufacture and deliver 1,142 boxes of tape identified as “TAPE, NUCLEAR ET GR,” NSN 1H-5640-014779416-X3, part number OB357NET-2, in accordance with the applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data, technical data package, drawings, standards, and specifications. The procurement includes stringent technical, quality-assurance, inspection, packaging, cleanliness-control, shelf-life, and mercury-exclusion requirements. Government quality requirements include contractor-maintained inspection records, cure-date certification under DI-MISC-81318, and a complete package of applicable vendor-certified Reports of Test and Inspection under DI-QCIC-8872; authorization to ship must be obtained from the contracting officer. The supplies are to be delivered to DLA Distribution Norfolk and Distribution Depot Puget Sound within 180 days after contract award. The procurement is unrestricted and uses commercial-product acquisition procedures. Technical documents must be obtained through the designated website after password registration; hard copies will not be mailed.
