Kern County Planning and Natural Resources Department has issued a Notice of Exemption (NOE) under CEQA for the plugging and abandonment of an oil well (APN 157-090-176) in Section 17 of the McKittrick Field. The project is being carried out by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and is considered ministerial under the Kern County Zoning Ordinance.
