Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is soliciting bids to clean out and plug 25 orphan gas wells, estimated at 1,500 to 2,600 feet deep, in accordance with Department specifications. The work also includes preparing and restoring the well sites and mobilizing and demobilizing plugging equipment. A mandatory two-day pre-bid conference is required; failure to attend will cause rejection of the bid. The contract duration is 365 calendar days. Bids must be submitted online through BidExpress by 2:00 p.m. on December 3, 2026.
