Description
Kern High School District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for Bid No. 6936 to furnish and install all metal lockers and aluminum locker benches on a turnkey basis for the Vista Continuation High School modernization project. The work includes associated fasteners, adhesives, brackets, locking hardware, supports, mounting, cover plates, hangers, sealants, flashings, finish touch-up, coordination of backing, scheduled move-ins, demonstrations and training, and as-built documentation for field modifications. Prime contractors and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors must complete the Owner-provided prequalification questionnaire and financial statement. Prequalification must be submitted no later than ten business days before bid opening and announced no later than five business days before bid opening. The estimated bid value is $81,204, the project duration is 490 calendar days, and the work requires California C-61 and D-24 licenses, a 10 percent bid bond, payment and performance bonds equal to 100 percent of the contract amount, prevailing-wage compliance, DVBE participation, and specified insurance coverage.
