The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering Division, is seeking a consultant for geotechnical and environmental investigation services supporting the Palisades Branch Library Replacement Project. The scope includes review of existing geotechnical information; preparation of a health and safety plan; geophysical investigation; drilling, logging, sampling, and borehole infiltration testing; geotechnical laboratory testing; preparation of a geotechnical investigation report; environmental soil sampling and analytical laboratory testing; and a limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment report. The task order is limited to the top three firms on the pre-qualified On-Call Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering Services Consultants List: Verdantas, Inc., Geosyntec Consultants, and Fugro USA Land, Inc. Consultants will not be required to obtain permits. Any subconsultants added to the contract that were not originally included in Schedule A must be registered with RAMP. The submission package includes a Non-Collusion Affidavit and Schedule B, which must include the base bid amount and subconsultant information where applicable.
