Description
The City of Buffalo is soliciting sealed bids for the GObike Buffalo - East Side Trails Phase 1 construction project. Work includes removal and replacement of stone curbs; installation of sidewalks, ADA ramps, bicycle infrastructure, a pedestrian bridge, signs, pavement markings, traffic signals and pedestrian signal infrastructure, street lighting and conduit; tree removal and planting; benches, bicycle racks, and trash receptacles; and maintenance and protection of traffic. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and incidental construction necessary to complete the plans and specifications. The opportunity is reserved for New York State-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. The solicitation states SDVOB, MBE, and WBE goals of 6%, 25%, and 5%, respectively. The contract term is 260 working days. Bids must be sealed and either delivered to or mailed to Room 502, City Hall, Buffalo, New York 14202, by the bid opening. A pre-bid meeting will be held by video or conference call, and the public bid opening will also be conducted by video or phone conference.
