Description
The City of Grand Ledge is seeking qualifications from a consultant to provide airport planning, architectural and engineering design, and construction administration services for Abrams Municipal Airport. The work will support the airport’s current Five-Year Airport Capital Improvement Plan and may include land and easement acquisition, obstruction marking, lighting and removal, hangar taxi lane design and rehabilitation, and T-hangar design and construction. This is a quality-based selection process, with services for each project negotiated independently. Statements of Qualifications must exclude fees and costs and should address aviation consulting experience, similar projects, key personnel, FAA and State of Michigan regulatory knowledge, project coordination capabilities, and recent project success. Firms must provide at least three airport references within Michigan. Projects are expected to be initiated between 2027 and 2031 and may be funded by federal, state, and local sources.
