Description
Delta Charter Township is seeking contractors to provide periodic, code-enforcement and nuisance-related snow and ice removal from public sidewalks serving residential and commercial properties. Services are requested by Township staff after snow accumulation exceeding two inches or any ice accumulation and may involve regular, intermittent, or single-service visits. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, fuel, materials, safety controls, debris removal, and traffic or pedestrian protection, including clearing sidewalks across curb cuts and drive access points to roadway intersections where sidewalks connect to designated crosswalks. Contractors must document completed work by emailing before-and-after photographs for each serviced property. The initial service period runs from November 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with options to renew for two additional seasons. The Township may award to multiple contractors and does not guarantee a minimum volume of work. Electronic, item-based pricing is required, and references for comparable snow-removal services, exceptions or variations, and required insurance coverage are addressed in the solicitation.
