Description
The Town of Davie is soliciting a contractor to provide quarterly preventive maintenance, as-needed repairs, and re-upholstery services for fitness equipment at the Pine Island Fitness Center. The equipment includes treadmills, cycles, climbers, single-station equipment, racks, benches, and other equipment from brands including Cybex, StairMaster, SpeedFit, Precor, WaterRower, and Jacobs Ladder. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, supervision, materials, and parts; perform inspections, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, cleaning, pad repair, and replacement of worn parts; and provide equipment-condition reports after each service visit. Repairs will be authorized as needed, with labor billed hourly and parts priced using a quoted discount from list price. Re-upholstery must meet manufacturer specifications and match existing colors unless otherwise approved. Services must use new original-equipment-manufacturer parts unless alternatives are approved, comply with applicable safety requirements, and minimize disruption to facility operations. The contract is for an initial two-year period with two additional one-year renewal options.
