Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to provide a Veteran-only free-swim and aqua wellness program through a community pool partnership. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, required safety or assistive equipment and personnel, and instructors for guided aqua aerobic, movement, and exercise classes. The facility must support at least 100 Veterans per session, accommodate lap swimming/open exercise and an instructed class, and operate indoors year-round in a temperature-controlled environment. The program consists of one-hour sessions three times per week, subject to cost-based determination of whether two or three days can be supported. The contractor must track attendance and submit quarterly aggregated, anonymous participation reports. The solicitation includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods and requires a signed SF 1449, active small-business certification, SAM registration, applicable amendment acknowledgments, and a PDF response addressing technical capabilities, experience, past performance, and pricing.
