Description
The City of Saginaw is soliciting sealed bid proposals for the removal of 143 trees in specified diameter ranges: 6-12 inches, 13-24 inches, 25-30 inches, 31-36 inches, and 37 inches or larger. Unit pricing must include tree removal, stump removal, backfill, grass growth, removal and disposal of chippings, logs, and related debris, and any required traffic control. The contractor must furnish all labor and equipment, comply with applicable Michigan Department of Transportation specifications, ANSI Z-133.1 tree-care safety standards, and MIOSHA requirements, and maintain clean and safe work areas. Work is scheduled to begin October 5, 2026, and must be completed by June 30, 2027. The bid is all-or-none, no substitutions are permitted, and the original bid plus one copy must be submitted. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check equal to 5% of the total bid is required only when the bid exceeds $100,000.
