Description
The City of Renton is soliciting bids for a CIPP (Cured-in-Place-Pipe) rehabilitation project for its sewer and storm systems. The project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 13,185 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe (6" to 15" diameter) and approximately 4,149 linear feet of storm pipe (12" to 24" diameter). Key activities include trimming intruding laterals, reinstatement of side-sewer and storm-sewer laterals, deep cleaning of one lateral, installation of short-range lateral seals, and performing point repairs as necessary. The project also requires pre- and post-cleaning and inspection of pipes, CIPP performance testing and analysis (13 tests for sanitary sewer and 4 tests for storm pipe), confirmation of pipe diameters and lengths, and confirmation of storm and sewer lateral locations.
