Description
The US Coast Guard is soliciting proposals for engineering and related services for stormwater retrofit planning in urban unincorporated areas. The deadline for proposals is 1:30 PM on July 16, 2026. This project may be funded in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Washington State Department of Ecology, and will be subject to certain federally mandated contract provisions. The solicitation emphasizes good faith efforts to subcontract with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) firms, with negotiated fair share objectives of 10% MBE and 4% WBE, requiring certification by the State of Washington Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises. The US Coast Guard assures that disadvantaged business enterprises will have full and fair opportunity to submit proposals and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, age, or disability.
