Description
This project consists of constructing ADA curb ramps and associated curbs and sidewalks throughout the City of Seattle. Typical work includes traffic control, surveying, pavement and sidewalk removal, sawcutting, excavation, subgrade preparation, forming, placing and finishing concrete, detectable warning plates, pedestrian pushbutton assemblies, storm drainage, hot mix asphalt and roadway cement concrete paving, channelization, landscaping, installation of speed humps, and traffic sign installation or relocation. The contract is a unit price contract with a minimum award value of $200,000 and a not-to-exceed amount of $4,000,000. Work will be assigned via Work Packages, each specifying the scope of work. The contract duration is 1 year with an option to extend to a 2nd year. The project includes electrical work and rebar installation.
