Description
The City of Bothell is soliciting sealed bids for the Sammamish River & Waynita Creek Restoration project (Project # 0087.05.T004+). This project involves creating a new stream channel, floodplain, and wetland areas on the former Wayne Golf Course, as well as improvements to the local Parks trail system. Key aspects of the work include stream bypass, in-water work, earthwork, installation of a 100 ft pedestrian bridge, site stabilization, and landscaping. A mandatory site walk for potential bidders will be held on Tuesday, June 16th, from noon to 2 pm at the Back 9 of the Former Wayne Golf Course in Bothell, WA (approximate location: latitude 47.745991, longitude -122.212376). Participation and registration at the site walk are mandatory for bid consideration. Funding for this project has been provided by the Washington Department of Ecology and the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. The estimated cost for this project is between $7 million and $7.5 million, with a physical completion timeframe of 160 working days.
