Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District is soliciting for construction dredging services for the FY26 Duwamish Waterway Maintenance Dredging project in Seattle, Washington. The project involves removing up to 100,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from designated reaches of the Duwamish Waterway federal navigation channel. Dredging is anticipated to occur between December 1 and February 15 of any given year, with the specific work window for this contract being December 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027. The work will be performed using a clamshell dredge and equipment designed to minimize environmental impacts. Dredged material will be disposed of at the DMMP Elliot Bay Open Water Disposal Site. Specific dredging depths are outlined for Section A and the Turning Basin (to -15 ft MLLW plus overdepth) and Section B (to -15 ft MLLW plus overdepth). This is a firm-fixed-price contract action that will be 100% small business set-aside.
