Description
The contractor will provide a complete metal roofing and exterior metal-panel package for the Vista Continuation High School New Campus. The scope includes standing-seam metal roof panels; metal wall and soffit panels; sheet metal flashing and trim; roof-to-wall, parapet, penetration, and transition flashings; closures, underlayments, vapor retarders, fasteners, clips, brackets, and related accessories. The work also includes expansion joints, seismic joints, fire-rated expansion-joint covers and seals, backer rods, bond breakers, and joint sealants. The prime contractor must provide layout and field verification, shop drawings and fabrication plans, coordination with other trades, equipment and rigging, field cutting and fabrication, field seaming and testing, temporary weather protection, final cleaning, warranties, and as-built documentation. The project requires a California C-43 license, prequalification of the prime contractor, a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment and performance bonds, prevailing-wage compliance, and specified insurance coverage. The estimated bid value is $1,328,311.73, and the stated project duration is 490 calendar days.
