Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is soliciting bids for the design, specification, and procurement of materials for an auxiliary HVAC/humidity control system at the USP Allenwood facility. The contractor will be responsible for system design and documentation, heat load analysis, supplying the rooftop unit, humidification system, and associated ductwork, and performing commissioning and verification of the system. USP Allenwood staff will perform the installation. This is a 100% small business set-aside requirement. The NAICS code is 238220 with a size standard of $19,000,000. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price award, with technical acceptability and past performance considered approximately equal in value to price, using a Best Value Determination method. The contractor warrants that the equipment provided will be new, of good quality, free from defects for at least five years from final acceptance, and will comply with all applicable codes and the SOW requirements.
