Description
The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, is seeking information on potential sources capable of supplying 1,000 gallons of light beige/light gray/off-white/buff epoxy primer. This primer must be corrosion inhibiting, high solids, lead and chromate free, Hazardous Air Pollutant Free (HAPs-Free), and a two-component formulation with a maximum VOC of 2.8 lbs/gal. The material must meet specification MIL-DTL-53022, Type IV, Class L. Specifically, the required product codes are 22167WEP for Part A (1-gallon size) and 22170CEH for Part B (1-quart size), sold as a 1-gallon kit. Crucially, the material must be listed on the Qualified Products List (QPL) for MIL-DTL-53022. This is a Sources Sought notice for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). Any resulting purchase order will be issued under NAICS code 325510, Paint and Coating Manufacturing.
