Description
This solicitation is for the supply, delivery, installation, operator training, and warranty of a Vertical Lift Module (VLM) at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) in Pennsylvania. The VLM is an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) designed to improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and safety by providing high-density storage and rapid order picking. Key performance requirements include a minimum total unit load capacity of 150,000 lbs, a maximum tray capacity of 40,000 lbs, a minimum lifting speed of 120 ft/min, and a horizontal extractor speed of 20 in/sec. The VLM must fit within dimensions not exceeding 15.14' wide by 10.3' deep by 28' height and have the capacity to store up to 200,000 small objects. The contract includes installation, which requires the contractor to provide rental equipment, and operator training at Tobyhanna, PA. A two-year full parts and labor product warranty is also required. The delivery schedule requires project completion, including product delivery, training, and installation, within 16 weeks after receipt of order.
