Description
The City seeks a four-year contract for Firefighter Personal Escape Systems, replacement components, and related training. The specified system must be manufactured by Fire Innovations and include the listed descent device, rope, anchor hook, straps, pouch, belt, and carabiner; the solicitation also specifies replacement parts and component requirements, including serial numbering and manufacture dates. Quantities are listed by contract year, with 75 systems in Year 1 and 250 systems in each of Years 2–4, plus replacement components. Training includes train-the-trainer instruction for 20 instructors, end-user training supported by a manufacturer representative, and repair/component-replacement training for six repair personnel. Training is to be conducted on site. Proposals must include course descriptions, instructor biographies or qualifications, firm and team qualifications, at least three project references, an approach and work plan, and a cost proposal. The response must also address good-faith outreach to certified MBE/WBE/veteran-owned businesses and include the required commitment form and supporting documentation.
