Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking potential sources for a pulsed field ablation system for electrophysiology treatment of atrial fibrillation. The statement of work identifies the requested system as the Boston Scientific FARAPULSE platform, including the FARASTAR pulsed field ablation generator package (UPN M004PF61M401), associated disposable catheter kits, and an extended warranty plan. The contractor must deliver the equipment to the Cardiology department and provide training for cardiology and biomedical engineering personnel on system operation, disposable supplies, maintenance, and repair. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research and capability information only; it is not a solicitation, does not request binding offers, and will not result in an award based on submitted responses. Respondents must provide company, manufacturer, product, delivery, contracting-vehicle, country-of-origin, and socioeconomic information, along with any relevant capability materials. The FAR 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate is required only when applicable to products manufactured outside the United States.
