Description
The Salt Lake City School District intends to award a contract without competition for the OverDrive procurement item unless another interested and qualified vendor demonstrates that it can provide a comparable or better item meeting the specifications, the same proprietary item or an equivalent item, and—if transitional costs support the proposed sole source—a cost comparison of the identified and anticipated transitional costs. A contesting vendor must submit the contesting person's name, a detailed explanation of the challenge with supporting documentation showing competing sources, and documentation supporting its ability to provide the required comparable, proprietary, or equivalent item. Vendors agreeing with the proposed sole-source determination do not need to respond.
