Description
The City of Iowa City is seeking one new all-electric vehicle for its Housing Division. The vehicle must be front-wheel drive, have a minimum 60 kWh lithium-ion battery and 200-mile range, seat at least four adults, include a 120-volt onboard charger with charging cables, regenerative braking, anti-lock brakes with traction and stability control, power accessories, climate control, Bluetooth capability, a factory-installed rear-view camera, specified interior and exterior colors, and four key sets. Bidders must provide pricing through the Ion Wave procurement portal, identify the proposed year, make, and model, submit manufacturer model literature and an itemized quote, state an expected delivery date, identify the closest factory-approved warranty repair facility within 30 miles of Iowa City, and acknowledge the specified warranty requirements. Delivery is expected approximately 120–150 calendar days after purchase-order issuance. A signed Wage Theft Affidavit and model literature are required with the bid; the Contract Compliance Document is required only from the awarded vendor. Insurance is required under the City's general terms and conditions, including comprehensive general liability, automotive liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
