Description
The University of Iowa is conducting a Request for Information regarding outsourced accounts payable invoice-processing services and related technologies. Respondents should describe their company, service-delivery model, invoice intake and management capabilities, workflow and approval functions, payment-readiness support, supplier communications, and operational performance metrics. The requested information also covers invoice-capture technology, OCR, artificial intelligence and machine learning, reporting, dashboards, document retention, supplier portals, mobile functionality, integrations with ERP and financial systems, security and compliance controls, business continuity, implementation, training, change management, service levels, pricing models, higher-education experience, references, and measurable client outcomes. The University currently uses PeopleSoft Oracle and processes both paper and electronic invoices. This RFI is for information-gathering purposes only; no award will be made, and a future RFP may be issued.
